【活动通知】《2017香港政改—高校精英之角色》研討會

致科大內地生校友,

 

眾所周知,香港各界對於2017年特區行政長官選舉方案和立法會的產生辦法極為關心,在社會上也不時引起激烈而廣泛的討論,因為這是現時香港政治體制改革的焦點。閣下正在或曾在香港留學,作為香港社會的精英分子,關心香港社會是我們共同的責任。本會誠邀閣下參加《2017香港政改——高校精英之角色》研討會,相信通過討論,我們會對2017香港政改、基本法及“一國兩制”等議題有更深入的了解。此研討會主講嘉賓為香港特區前律政司司長梁愛詩律師及全國人大常委會基本法委員會委員劉迺強先生。是次活動的發起者包括香港留學生會、香港大學職員協會主席陳捷貴議員、促進現代化專業人士協會會長謝炯全博士等,本會參與合辦。如有興趣參加,請儘早通過線上報名網址報名。具體安排如下所示。

The Symposium on Risk Management and Business Intelligence 2013, will be held on April 20, 2013 (Saturday) morning in the Citigroup Lecture Theatre (LT A), The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). This is the Fifth symposium organized by the Risk Management and Business Intelligence (RMBI) Program of HKUST.
In echoing the vision and mission of the pioneered RMBI program, the upcoming symposium will continue to provide an excellent platform for the academic and industrial experts to meet and exchange their views, and to offer young adults a unique opportunity to learn invaluable first-hand lesson on Risk Management (RM) and Business Intelligence (BI). The scope for RMBI Symposium 2013 is as follows:

Mr. David K.T. Cheung
Senior Vice President, Credit Management Department, Wing Lung Bank Limited.

Mr. David Cheung is a Senior Vice President in Credit Management Department of the Wing Lung Bank Limited subsidiary of China Merchants Bank. He has gained almost 30 years experience in Hong Kong Banking industry and specializes in Credit Risk Management and Basel II. David had been engaged in a wide range of assignments covering front office, middle office and back office in the credit risk management process. He has also led a number of Credit Risk Management projects including Basel II project, credit risk modeling, data warehouse and loan application system etc.

Stephen Chiu Restructuring

Stephen Chiu currently is the CFO Greater China of an international bank. He has accumulated over 20 years of auditing, financial control, product risk & control, change management and treasury experience in banking and securities industries. His product coverage includes trade finance, loans, equities, alternative investments, fixed income, rates, fx, credit, commodities and hybrid products. He is also experienced in managing various in- house change projects including restructuring, integration, M&A and system implementations.

Mr. Vincent Lam held several senior positions in a number of hedge funds and private equity asset management house. He is experienced in funds and deal structuring, and specialized in risk, financial, and operations of funds with AUM over billion USD. He is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW). He is also a member of the Hong Kong Securities Institute. He also holds a Responsible Officer of Asset Management licensed under Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission. He has an MSc degree in Economics from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Dr. Haksun Li is the CEO of Numerical Method Inc., an algorithmic trading research and analytic consulting company. The company serves brokerage houses and funds all over the world, multinational corporations, very high net worth individuals and gambling groups. Prior to this, Haksun was a quantitative trader/quantitative analyst with multiple investment banks. He has worked in New York, London, Tokyo, Singapore and Hong Kong. Dr. Haksun Li has a B.S. and M.S. in Pure and Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago, an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Dr. Haksun Li is/was an adjunct professor with multiple universities. He has taught at the National University of Singapore (Mathematics), Nanyang Technological University (Business School), Fu Dan University (Economics), as well as Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Mathematics).

Mr. Coleman Tse is the general manager of the business construction unit of Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency or HKQAA. He is also the Vice President of IIE (HK). Mr. Tse has very extensive audit experiences for different industries. He is a qualified ISO 9001, TS 16949, TL 9000 and SA 8000 auditors. Coleman has participated more 1000 audits and performed assessments in China, HK, Vietnam, Thailand, Australia, Samoa, Korea and Philippines.

Dr. CP Wong is the President of the eHealth Consortium, Chairman of the Hong Kong Society of Medical Informatics and Board Member of HL7 Hong Kong. He is a practicing Consultant Geriatrician working in Ruttonjee Hospital since 1992. He has been the Chairman of the Clinical Informatics Program Executive Group, Co-Chairman of the Clinical Informatics Program Steering Group of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority. He is also Immediate Past President of the Asia Pacific Association for Medical Informatics (APAMI).
